What we collect

Your account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we get an account ID, your name and your email address. With Apple it can be a private relay address.
What you add. Your first names, the day you got together, your answers, photos, dates, gift lists, memories, milestones and visits.
Where, if you allow it. Your city, kept to about 10 km, so you get ideas nearby and long distance works. When you log a date, the place you were, so it shows on your map. Location is read only when you use it or open the app, never in the background.
How the app is used. Which screens and buttons are used, for how long, and the app version. Never what you write and never your photos.
When something breaks. A crash report: what the app was doing, the app version and your phone model.
Your phone. Your time zone, and a notification address if you turn reminders on.

What we do not collect

Your location in the background, your contacts, or anything that follows you into other apps or websites.

Who sees it

Only the two of you. Your gift ideas, only you. The person who runs Me&Mine can reach the database to keep the app working and fix problems, and does not read your things otherwise.

Who helps run the app

Supabase stores your account and what you add, in the United States. PostHog counts how the app is used. Sentry receives crash reports. Apple handles sign in, notifications and test versions (TestFlight). Google handles sign in if you choose it. Expo delivers app updates. OpenStreetMap names places and finds ideas nearby, and CARTO draws the map: they get a point on the map or what you searched, never your name or account. Each only receives what it needs for that job.

No ads, nothing sold

There are no ads. We never sell or rent your data.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. Deleting your account in Settings removes your account, your answers and your gift lists from the app right away. A copy is kept for 30 days so it can be brought back if you ask, then it is erased for good. Usage counts are kept with a random account ID, not your name or email.

Your choices

You can see and change what you added in the app, turn reminders off in Settings, and delete your account whenever you want. You can also ask us for a copy of your data or to remove it, at support@meandmine.app.

Under 18

Me&Mine is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app.
